Itinerary 5 Nights & 6 Days

Pick up & Drop: Delhi/Chandigarh

Day: 01 Delhi—Shimla

 

Pick up from Delhi & drive to Shimla. On the way stop at Murthal for Tea and Coffee, The Parwanoo Timber Trail, The Sankat Mochan Temple. On arrival check in to the hotel in Shimla. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

Day: 02 Shimla—Kufri—Local

 

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing famous —

 

  1. Jakhu Temple: – Jakhu is a famous temple dedicated to the monkey god- Lord Hanuman. Situated at the highest peak in the hill capital of Himachal, at about 8500 feet in the east of historical ridge ground in Shimla, the temple is said to be existing from the times of Ramayana. This temple of Lord Hanuman, the most faithful aide to Lord Rama is located in the thick forests of Jakhu hills. The devotees need to cover a steep hill trek of around 2 kms to reach the temple. The temple can also be visited on the back of ponies that are available on hire at the base of the hill.

2.Green Valley at Kufri: – At a distance of 8 km from Shimla Railway Station from Kufri, Green Valley lies on National Highway 22, on the way to Kufri from Shimla.. Enjoy a breath-taking view here as you look around at a huge expanse of green forests. You will also find some local shacks and markets here. Sometimes rare animals like Yaks can be seen wandering and grazing here. It is a popular point  enjoy the picturesque lush green environs. Green Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Shimla. It is noted for its elite beauty. Verdant hills with lush green forests and the backdrop of distant snow-capped Himalayas demand a snapshot.

  1. Himalayan National park: – Himalayan National Park has a huge variety of flora like oak, spruce, blue pine, deodar and holly. Indeed, it also includes colorful herbaceous plants growing all around the region like species of balsam, geranium, primula, and orchid, to name a few. Wildlife lovers may also find a huge diversity of fauna in the park including Tibetan wolf, snow leopard, brown bear, common leopard, and Asiatic black bear. Apart from these carnivores, there are other mammals too including musk deer, bharal, hangal, sambhar, goral, and barking deer. One who is seeking adventure then they may enjoy trekking, picnicking and camping in the park. Besides, there are various temples that are located in the close proximity to the Himalayan National Park. It is only accessible in summer season and autumn.   1. Chini Bangla: –Chini Bangla is one of the most critical sights inside the Indian city of Kufri near Shimla. Famous for its idols and structure, Chini Bangla is visited through many people. In evening visit to the Local sightseeing The Mall the Ridge Located in the heart of the ‘British Summer Capital’ – Shimla, The Ridge is a wide open street located on the side of Shimla Mall Road. The Ridge has everything, from shops selling some exclusive artifacts to the spectacular view of the snow-capped mountain ranges set against an orangish hued sky. It is famous for a lot of things, but best known for shopping. This place is a delight for all kinds of tourists, and the old British establishments beckon visitors from all over to this centre of the beautiful hill station. The Ridge is the most recognized face of Shimla. It is often the most photographed part of the hill station covered with pine, firs, Himalayan Oak and Rhododendron trees. The Kali Bare Temple and the Lakkar Bazaar Famous for Wooden: -Lakkar Bazaar is a marketplace adjoining the Ridge in Shimla, India. Shops offer wooden articles targeted mainly at tourists. There is also a roller skating rink in Lakkar Bazaar. Lakkar Bazaar is known for wooden toys made by a small group of Sikh carpenters Wooden walking sticks are famous. Lakkar Bazar was like a small village in itself. Sita Ram is famous for its alloo tikki and chole Bhature. Regal Building, comprising a Cinema Hall, Roller Skating Hall and Meena Bazar is a famous place.

Day: 03 Shimla—Kullu—Manali

After breakfast drive to Manali on the way Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dam and the Kullu Valley: – At a distance of 40 km from Manali. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in Kullu Valley at an altitude of 1230 meters. Kullu Manali is one of the top summer resorts to visit as part of Himachal tour packages and among the wellknown Himachal tourism destinations. Kullu is a broad open valley formed by the Beas River between Manali and Larji. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty and its majestic hills covered with Pine and Deodar Forest and sprawling Apple Orchards.

After then drive to Manali. On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

Day: 04 Manali—Solang Valley

After breakfast drive visit to Solang Valley lies between Solang village and Beas Kund. It offers a beautiful view of glaciers and snow capped mountains. Since the valley has fine ski slopes, it is a perfect place for skiing.  This institute is the venue for winter skiing festival and also offers training in skiing to the tourists. In winter, the valley becomes a skiing paradise with children of all ages slipping and sliding over the fresh white snow. When snow melts in the summer, skiing is replaced by parachuting, zorbing, paragliding and horse riding. For snow lovers, the best time to visit Solang Valley is between the months of December to February. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

 

Day: 05 Manali—Local

In morning after breakfast drive visit to local sightseeing famous-

1.Hadimba Devi Temple: – Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungiri Temple,[1] also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali, a hill station in the State of Himachal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foot of the Himālayas.

 

  1. Manu Temple: – Manu Temple is believed to be the only temple of Manu in India, who is considered as the creator of the human race on earth. Located at a distance of 3 km from the main bazaar in Old Manali, the temple is believed to be the abode of Manu, the ancient law-giver of India. Folklore points to the fact that subsequent to the great flood, Manu landed at Manali and made the place his abode.

 

  1. Tibetan Monastery: – The Tibetan monastery is one of the major tourist spot in Manali and is famous for weaving different and colourfull carpets. Residents Tibetan Monastery and immigrants of Tibet produce handmade handicrafts to attract the various tourists. Tibetan Monastery is one of the oldest and famous place in Manali.

The main attraction of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery. The aromatic fragrance of the Tibetan incense sticks that are lit in the Tibetan Monasteries of Manali lays an enchanting charm on the tourists and lures them to visit the monastery again.

 

  1. Vishishth Temple & Village: – Vashist Temple in Manali is dedicated to sage Vashisht, the Kula guru of Lord Rama in the village Vashisht across the River Beas. It is among the most famous places to visit in Manali. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht one of the seven sages of Hindu. The Vashisht temple is believed to be more than 4000 years old. Inside the temple there is a black stone image of the Rishi wearing dhoti. The Vashist temple is decorated with excellent and beautiful carvings on wood. The interior of this temple is rather traditional which is ornamented with antique painting and figures.

 

  1. Club house: – the club house is an amusement zone. It has indoor game facilities and is situated on the left bank of river Manalsu Nallah. The structure of Club House finds resemblance from British style of architecture. It is managed by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) and offers avenue for playing popular indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, karting and skating. Tourists can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with some delicious snacks from their in-house restaurant. Adventure freaks can indulge in river crossing which can be done by ropeway.

 

  1. Van Vihar Park: – Van Vihar National Park is one of the most frequented attractions in Manali. Located favorably on the Mall Road, this park is populated with many deodar trees that provide shade to the whole area. For the convenience of visitors, the park is provided with concrete as well as wooden benches. It is an ideal place for enjoying picnics and spending moments of repose with your loved ones. Its well-laid paths are perfect for a long and refreshing stroll amid lush greenery. In addition to these, visitors can indulge in boat rides in the park’s small pond.

Day: 06 Manali—Delhi

After breakfast drive to Delhi on the way Kullu Valley, Pandoh Dam, Sunder Nagar Lake and Stop at Murthal for Tea and Coffee. After then drive to Drop at Delhi Railway station/Airport.
